Relationships with partners, parents, friends; difficulties at work or college; grief at the loss of a loved one; there are many areas of life that can become challenging and make life seem hard. It can be a struggle to know how to sort things out. Short-term counselling is a great way to work out what you can change now. Sometimes this leads to a greater awareness of underlying issues that need longer consideration, and you can decide to do this if you want. The number of sessions, how often, whether you see me or another therapist, when to stop, these are all in your control.
I also work with people who want support for long term health issues or who are experiencing major change in their lives. Weekly sessions work for most people, and I am happy to discuss and agree what will work for you.
